Thank you to everyone who engaged in the first round of public consultation on our emerging vision for Plot B and Albion Bridge this summer.
We are grateful for all the feedback we’ve received, which has been considered as our design process has continued.
Across this first round of public consultation, the team distributed flyers to nearly 5,000 residents, hosted two public exhibition events, held two pop up events in the local area, and received over 50 feedback forms in-person and online via the dedicated website.
Key themes of feedback from this first phase of consultation include:
- Support for the provision of affordable housing on-site.
- Keenness to ensure that the student accommodation is accessible for students.
- Desire for a range of uses for the ground floor community spaces, in particular leisure activities, retail, and food and beverage uses.
- Support for the creation of new routes to the site which will improve pedestrian connectivity.
- Keenness to ensure that the replacement Albion Bridge prioritises pedestrian safety.
