Connection and community are at the heart of Dockside Canada Water
From day one, we've been working closely with the local community to ensure that Dockside benefits everyone.
We have forged strong connections, and this work continues. At Dockside, you can be part of a fantastic community and contribute to it in a meaningful way.

Thank you to all those who have taken the time to engage with our public consultation for Plot B and the Albion Bridge, providing valuable feedback on our proposals. Your insights and contributions have been instrumental in shaping our plans as we move towards a planning submission to Southwark Council.
We shared our proposals for Plot B at two hosted drop-in events and showcased how the plans and designs had progressed, including sharing your feedback. Thank you again for your continued support and participation.

From the outset, it has been our ambition to learn all we can about the area, to understand local needs and aspirations, and to build lasting relationships with the community that has warmly welcomed us.
Tapping into local knowledge and networks has helped shape what we are building, and we have looked for opportunities to support everything from health & wellbeing to biodiversity, as well as creating employment opportunities for local people.
We’re linking these buildings into their local context and offering businesses an opportunity to really connect with the community and the place.
Meaningful engagement
The community at Canada Water is one of its best features. We have worked closely with local groups and we continue to do so. This is vitally important.
From the designs for the dock edge to the amenities at street level, to the meanwhile uses that will be popping up while we build - everything is being done with the input, involvement and cooperation of the local community.
Health & Wellbeing Fund
Our Health & Wellbeing Fund was set up in partnership with Decathlon UK in 2022 to support grassroots organisations in Canada Water and Rotherhithe.
Now in its third year, the fund will provide £200,000 over a five year period. The goal is to encourage participation in sport and play for people of all ages.
