We’re delighted to have worked with the community over the past few years as we bring forward our exciting proposals for Dockside Canada Water.

We are now excited to be sharing our emerging vision for the next phase of the new town centre in Canada Water, on a site known as Plot B, on the corner of Surrey Quays Road and Canada Street.
Over the coming months, we want to work closely with local residents to develop the proposals for Plot B and Albion Bridge, to ensure that these benefit the local area and Southwark as a whole as much as possible.
We are at the early stages of considering plans for a detailed design for Plot B, which would consist of two buildings including student accommodation and affordable homes, as well as a community hub at the ground floor.
As included in the outline permission, we are also exploring proposals for a replacement to Albion Bridge which will be wider and improve the pedestrian environment. This will improve the experience for future resident and visitors to the area.
We are committed to early conversations with the community to inform our design process for both Plot B and the Albion Bridge, in order to ensure the design meets local needs and ambitions.
We are hosting two drop-in events at our Dockside Project Hub, Retail Park, Unit 1 Canada Water, Surrey Quays Rd, London, SE16 2XU (enter via Maritime Street) on:
- Tuesday 9 July: 4:30pm-7:30pm
- Wednesday 10 July: 3:30pm-6:30pm
Our consultation on these proposals has now closed, but you can still view the consultation materials presented by following the link here.
Following this first round of consultation, we will review the feedback and use it to develop our proposals. We will then host another round of consultation in the autumn where we will share the emerging designs for the site, offering you another chance to have your say on the future of the Albion Bridge and Plot B.
If you have any questions about the proposals, please contact the team via email [email protected] or by telephone on 020 3900 3676.
