Art-Invest Real Estate helps to raise more than £25,000 to support London Youth Rowing

Art-Invest Real Estate team takes part in London Youth Rowing Oarsome challenge

Following a fantastic day taking part in the Oarsome Rowing Challenge, in which teams from across the real estate industry set afloat to take on the 16-mile row down the River Thames from Chiswick to Greenwich, Art-Invest Real Estate, together with London Youth Rowing, is delighted to announce that more than £25,000 has been raised to support the work of London Youth Rowing.

London Youth Rowing is a charity working in London and across the UK to motivate and inspire young people from disadvantaged communities, through the valuable life skills of rowing. Its programmes have been proved to boost the physical and mental wellbeing of young people who take part, with outsized benefits for young people from ethnic minorities and lower socio-economic backgrounds. With the funds raised as part of the rowing challenge, the charity plans to expand its Active Row Programme into more schools in Dockside Canada Water’s home of Southwark.

In the words of Art-Invest Real Estate UK’s Head of Development Luka Vukotic, “We are grateful to everyone that joined us out on the water and helped us raise such a significant amount for London Youth Rowing initiatives. The Oarsome Challenge is a truly memorable event that allows participants to enjoy a unique perspective of London, but it is also a great team building event that puts teamwork to a real test! This event is little different to other sporting fixtures in the real estate calendar, and we hope to make it an annual event with the aim to improve access and diversity of physical activities in the urban environment.”
